Emi Tao Takeuchi

Emi is a clinical mental health counseling intern supervised by Tyson Furr, PhD.

With a global education spanning 3 continents (in Honolulu, New York, Florence, La Coruña, and Tokyo), Emi has a first-hand understanding of navigating life in a foreign place, both as a child and as an adult. Her background includes helping individuals through major life challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, self-harm, and suicidal ideation.
