David Price is currently enrolled in the MS program for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Bellevue University, Nebraska. He is serving as an intern at Herald Square.
Raised in both Texas and Minnesota, David has been in Japan since 1995. He’s worked in both Japanese and multinational companies for the past 25 years, managing teams, divisions, and companies. As a result of what he’s seen and experienced, one core area of David’s therapeutic focus is to help those with work place and cultural stress, with connected issues including but not limited to relationships, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. He also engages those with cross cultural and relationship challenges.
David has two decades’ experience mentoring those with substance abuse and workplace issues. He has two years experience working for a crisis center, where he utilizes a person centered approach. He is currently engaging in individual and group therapy utilizing Person Centered Therapy (PCT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition, he employs Motivational Interviewing (MI), and has certification in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
